One of Melbourne’s long standing and successful Chiropractors, Dr. George Skandalellis did not set out to design mattresses, however as the founder of back to sleep® Dr. Skandalellis’ experience and his patients continued mattress complaints were destined to cross paths and lead to an exclusive range of mattresses and pillows. With over 12 years experience treating 1000’s of patients and owning several successful practices, Dr. Skandalellis discovered through his experience - many people suffer from avoidable and unnecessary pain, simply because the mattress and pillow they are sleeping on is of poor quality and does not provide the right spinal support. Dr. Skandalellis further found that referring his patients to the local bedding retailer only provided the patient with inexperienced sales people focused on a product rather than the patient’s issues.

This cycle caused further stress to his patients, identifying a need to have someone qualified in correct spinal alignment and sleep posture to take a first hand approach and provide the right solution. Dr. Skandalellis, with the assistance of fellow Health Care Professionals and one of Australia’s leading bedding manufactures, spent the next few years, designing, testing and developing the current back to sleep® mattress and pillow range. The back to sleep® mattress and pillow range is exclusive to Chiropractors and Health Care Professionals. The back to sleep® range is not available in retail outlets as Dr. Skandalellis believes the right mattress and pillow should be recommended by a trained and trusted Health Care Professional.
